Summer School 2023

SUMMER SCHOOL FOOD & HEALTH 2023 – 5th EDITION – JULY 3th to 14th
Glycation, Maillard Reaction & Carbamylation: Applications to Food Technology, Nutrition & Human Health

The (pre-)PhD France Excellence Summer School Food & Health 2023 is co-organised by the Lille University School of Medicine, the Institut Polytechnique UniLaSalle Beauvais & the International Academy, and will take place online from July 3th to 14th.

Food & Health 2023 is a high-standard 60-hour training session focusing on the fundamental aspects of agro-food processing, glycation, carbamylation, food quality, and their effects on health and longevity.

As a France Excellence programme, the summer school is dedicated to students willing to network into their PhD or postdoc in France. For this online edition, professionals are welcome. The participants should have a good English level and an excellent academic background in the fields of human health, biology or food chemistry.

The programme will offer lectures in English by eminent researchers in the field, a lead into research through a supervised online project assessed by an oral defence. The students will be given the opportunity to challenge their scientific potential.

Willing to broaden your international experience and get a peek at the French culture? We are looking forward to meeting you!
